I know some of you have been waiting for this. After yet another extended break, we are back with two new chapters of everyone’s darling project today. The fourth volume of Chokotto Sister kicks off with some dramatic scenes that’ll prove to be pivotal to the relationship between Haruma and you-know-who. Don’t worry though, the rest of the volume still offers enough fun and cuteness to satisfy any CS fan.

While I’m pretty sure most of you already know this, I just want to point out that the official site of the Chokotto Sister anime series that is scheduled to air this summer was officially launched last week. Personally, I think they could have used a more decent picture of Choko (let’s be frank, both her chara design and pose look horrible!) but at least they managed to put up some information about the creative staff behind the anime.

Let’s see, the animation will be produced by NOMAD, which is primarily known for their involvement in Rozen Maiden and its sequel Träumend. I watched neither (well, just the first episode of RM), but their production quality is said to be pretty good. I think CS could become their next big title. There’s hardly anything to screw up in this one, especially with the author Go Zappa himself penning all the scripts. The series will be cute, harmless fun, nothing more and nothing less. With so many bi-shôjo/moe anime coming out these days, it’s unlikely that a title like CS can make a difference. But maybe I’ll be proven wrong.

But enough with my blabbering, we still have one more release to make, and it’s a damn good one. After our recent josei spree, I’m glad to announce a new seinen 1-shot from the pages of Afternoon: Princess Mimia is a little fantasy gem from the author of Ai-ren. It’s a sweet and touching story whose poetical depth is greatly enhanced by the terrific English translation (of course, it’s not from me ^^; ). All thanks should go to ebifry, Girsej, exeuntsl and the incomparable Lq9z-san for bringing us this special story.

We’re still recovering after the massive party we had, so I’ll keep this short:

• Keep on Vibrating Story 4-7 (End)
  *sigh* The good things are over so soon. But don’t worry, this is not the last joint coming from us and Omanga. I promise our next project together will hit you between the eyes like a bullet. Be prepared!
• Girlfriend Special Chapter
  A special chapter indeed. Not only is this the first and so far only story (arc) that is told from a girl’s POV, it also features a consummate otaku as her squeeze. Like a few other stories, this one will also be continued in a latter volume. Speaking of which, volume 2 may arrive sooner than you expect.
• Milk Closet v4 ch18
  Only two more chapters to go. How will Tomizawa clear up this mess for us? You’ll be surprised, but then maybe you won’t.

In less pleasant news, due to Dreamhost cracking down on sites that carry copyrighted material we have lost our two main web mirrors (*sniff* thanks guys!). We still have the tracker, erutan’s one-shot mirror and Fimbulvetr’s Chokotto Sister mirror, but I’d feel much better if we had one or two more dedicated http mirrors just in case. In other words, we need your help. If you have a robust server with a few hundred megabytes storage space and some bandwidth to spare, we’d really appreciate it if you could host a few releases for us. You can host whatever you want or you could entrust us with the decision. Contact us if you want more specifics and/or have an offer to make.

Wow, that was a short death! To celebrate our unexpected but ultimately unavoidable resurrection, we at Kotonoha have decided to throw ourselves a party that’s going to offer everything one can expect from a joyous and satisfying social event: sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll.

Now, before y’all beat a path to our nonextant forum to tell us how awesome we are, here are a few things to get you into the right mood:

• Uncivilized Planet v2 ch10-11 (End)
  Finally, the conclusion of this riveting drama is here. Will our three childhood friends survive the treachery and overwhelming odds stacked against them? After everything they went through, can they go back to who they were? Could ickypop surpass himself in the editing department and thus reared for himself a monument that people will even speak of in ten years? Find out in these two last chapters!
• Keep on Vibrating Story 1-3
  Seeing that the final of Uncivilized Planet hardly contains any sex and gore at all, we feel it incumbent upon us to attend to what made Mr. Jirô Matsumoto so popular in the first place. In our latest joint with Omanga, a short story collection of Matsumoto’s, things get nasty, and wet. Seriously, in each of those stories there’s enough body fluid sloshing about to fill a swimming pool. Just downloading these files will make your computer wet his pants. I don’t even want to think of what you guys do when you read them. Anyway, you have to forgive my shoddy editing in this one. I edited those stories mostly with just one hand.
• Long Tall Sally (1-shot)
  Hallelujah, a new short story from our favorite josei artist Q-ta Minami. Unfortunately, it’s also the last one. According to Sailor Avalon, the remaining stories contained in Please God hold little interest for people who look for more than just cheap porn (wait a minute, what’s wrong with that?), so we won’t do them. But fear not, Long Tall Sally (no torrent, get it from myran-san’s site) does offer some good skin on skin action (between a female teacher and her student, no less!). Heck, if its 9 1/2 Weeks-esque scene doesn’t turn you on, you should probably get out of that cold shower. • Hanashippanashi v1 ch4-7
  Hmm, I’m not sure what to say about this series. I’m not even sure why I picked it up. It seems to be one of those strange little series that nobody bothers to talk or cares about. In my attempt to change that, I’ve asked the author Mr. Daisuke Igarashi to speak a few words to our beloved readers. Dôzo, Igarashi-sensei!
  

Well put, Mr. Igarashi! Have I mentioned that he will also be present at our party distributing some of his favorite man-made “stimulants”? Take a few of them and even you might be able to produce such far out and head-tripping stuff like him. Moreover, he promised to explain the meaning of the book’s title and why I should be ashamed of myself for even thinking about translating it as “yakety-yak.” As you can see, our party will be both fun and informative.
