Aoi Hana TV

Looks like I just got back in time to catch this cool announcement: Everyone’s favorite Aoi Hana (Sweet Blue Flowers) will be adapted as an anime series by JC Staff and directed by the same director of Honey and Clovers. The series is scheduled to air in July and the official website just went online with a little teaser video (click on the “Play” button to see it). If the series becomes a success (Who am I kidding? This one’s got hot lesbian school girls in it!) we might get to see Hourou Musuko on the little screen as well. How awesome would that be? :)

P.S. The 4th volume of Aoi Hana will go on sale in April. Kotonoha and Lililicious are, of course, committed to continue this series. Expect to see more Hourou Musuko and Happy-Go-Lucky Days from us as well.

  1. Kotonoha returning to translate and this news are both the two best things I could have hoped for! I am really curious about how Sweet Blue Flowers will turn out with the honey & clover staff!

  2. Welcome back! I’ve been glad anonymous has been doing Hourou Musuko, but I’ve been missing Happy Go Lucky Days and worried about Aoi Hana’s future with just Lililicious doing it.

  3. Hi i have an question will you continue with Chokotto Sister because i iam like it very much i hope that you will continue this manga : )

  4. Yay! This is the best news I’ve heard all year! I’ve been looking everywhere for Hourou Musuko, but you are the only people who seem to scanlate it.

Great news, that you guys are back!

  10. Glad to see you may come back to scanlating.
You really did a good job with interesting manga, far from mainstream.
I miss “Aoi Hana”, but also “Kiichi!”, “The music of Marie” and the wonderful “Coo’s world” (dropped!). “The hour of the mice” and “Kaikisen” were good too. As already mentionned in the comments, “Hourou mousouko” is worked on by someone else. I wasn’t interseted by the other projects, but all these great manga made Kotonoha my number one team.

  11. Please keep bringing us compelling mangas, Kotonoha!!!!

Forever supporting Koto and quality scanlation!!!!

  12. great news and great releases
you are one of the legendary scanlation groups and you will have the respect of the real members of the community no matter what happens! ;)
