Shorter Kotonoha

As we are slowly approaching the end of the year I suddenly find that my workload has increased tenfold, so expect fewer releases from now on. Lucky for you, you don’t have to go without the weekly fix of Soil and Inio Asano just yet. Speaking of Soil, I want to highlight this week’s double releases, not only because they are the last chapters of volume 4, but also because they shed some much needed light on the back story of “Miss Sayuri” and what happened to her village. Almost tangentially, we also learn what might have happened to Yokoi. You have to wonder what Kaneko has in store for him.

  1. oh

    wow

Soil makes my head hurt in all sorts of good ways. And more Asano, yay! Thank you! Good luck with your workload, November’s a bear…

  2. An update is an update in my book, so I’m grateful for anything. Though, one chapter of Asano is like 10 chapters of something else.
BTW, I concur with the others on Sunday, 6:30 PM, it’s one of Asano’s best works yet. It makes you a little teary-eyed at the end.

  3. wat da hell is up with that pic?!

  4. haha I read it, it makes sense now. the sock is brilliant xD

not only is it more “tasteful” than the unwelcomed full frontal, it shows off the skin-wrapped ribcage, and it makes him more of a loon

  5. Hey, I just read Swweeet. I saw in a forum on mangahelpers that you guys were gonna translate ch10. Any news on that? or was that just some random blurb. Anyways, love your releases, and keep up the good work!

  6. wow, an especially creepy Asano this time. Really – the whole thing was just . . . scary.
