Gearing Up for the Holidays
Can you believe X-mas is only one and a half weeks away? Yup, me neither. It seems like yesterday when we started digging ourselves out of the deep deep hole called hiatus. It’s crazy! But what’s crazier is the fact that we have actually been able to maintain our weekly release schedule till now. Well, not anymore. Even us scummy pirates have to take some time off every once in a while, and what’s a better time to do that than at the end of the year? Don’t worry, we still have one more surprise for you so make sure to check back next week as well. Until then, enjoy these early Christmas presents we have prepared for you:

After giving us a peek into Meguru’s personal life and his motivation (or lack thereof) for taking up shooto, Endo is getting back to the meat of the story this time, laying the foundation for the upcoming two-parter focusing on Takashi and his motivation. As to be expected, it’s a quite a contrast to Meguru’s. - Soil V5 Ch36
Kaneko continues to weave his web of mystery. In this chapter we get a few more glimpses into the character of Kosaka, the school counselor. From all the characters in Soil she seems to have the strongest link to the mystery. Could she be the only person who knows what’s going on in this town gone mad? - The Music of Marie V2 Ch10
Another exceptional chapter of an amazing story that poses some thought-provoking questions about religion, determinism and the human desire for knowledge. - The Hour of the Mice V3 Ch28-29

I’ve found the raws online and was wondering if you guys would be willng to provide translation for it… i can make out the story a little from what I’ve seen but I’d like some closure with this manga…

thanks for all the great manga! now that snoopycool has been down for more than half a year i’ve started looking for alternatives (yep, i was so lazy that i hardly read anything that wasn’t released by the group i worked for >_>). hour of the mice – it’s been so long since i read the first volume! so glad you’re still doing this project. and meguru – good to see more work by hiroki endo! i’m especially looking forward to the fighting girls that you promised in the introduction. i need some motivation to start with some martial arts, too

I thought you should know there is no entry for “Before Dawn and the End of the World” in the list of series you have completed. The only download link is on the right side under ‘Latest releases’, and I can find only one post of it, which is under ‘Releases’.

not just too early, you wouldn’t want to. endo’s a realistic storyteller, that’s his claim to fame
hajime no ippo’s made up entirely for preteen. so to keep up with teens george’s inventing a lot of crap these days. it’s easy to tell george doesn’t box himself from the way he draws (getting some of the basics wrong), but at least it was exciting back then.
nowadays it’s just too crazy to call his stuff boxing.
