Tale of the Tells
Finally, after a rather unfortunate break due to the loss of the project’s translator, we can present you today with the third chapter of Wolfsmund. It’s the last chapter in the first volume and a very good one, too. Not only because it introduces Wilhelm Tell, arguably Switzerland’s most famous folk hero, but also because it gives us something we have been missing in the first two chapters: a potentially worthy opponent for Wolfram. I have a strong feeling that Wilhelm Tell’s son, Walter, will play a pivotal role in the rebellion and the defeat of Wolfsmund. That would certainly be a battle worth looking forward to.
Changing topic, since there have been some questions regarding the status of our various projects, let me give you a quick rundown on where we stand:
- A Girl by the Sea
Currently awaiting the second volume. Release date unknown. - All-Rounder Meguru
We will resume work on the 7th volume at the end of February. - Garden
The last story has been translated for a while. Problem is, it’s over 120 pages long and requires a lot of redrawing, so I’m a bit intimidated right now. I’m confident we can get it done within the next 3-4 weeks though. - Gunjo
The 10th chapter is in the work and should be out within the next 1-2 weeks. - Hanashippanashi
Laika told me he wants to take this project to Illuminati-Manga, so I assume you will see the second volume from them. Until then we’ll just keep it on the Ongoing list - Kiichi!!
Against my better judgement, I’m still game to continue this project. We have translations, but unless we can find a dedicated cleaner, it will be an uphill battle. - Miyori’s Forest
The two sequels are still very much in play. Unfortunately, the translator for this project has been busy with life, so progress is rather slow. Don’t expect anything until at least April or May. - Owari to Hajimari no Miles
Currently awaiting the second volume. Release date unknown. - Paranoia Street
We have translations for the rest of volume 1, so it’s just a question of finding time to letter them. - Ran to Haiiro no Sekai
Chapter 8 is translated. I will start working on it after Gunjo 10 is done. - Raqiya
Progressing normally. We expect to release one chapter per week for the rest of volume 1. - Soil
Expect chapter 53 next week and then one new chapter every two weeks. - Wolfsmund
A bit touch-and-go since we don’t have a dedicated translator for it at the moment. Not to worry though, I’m already working on a backup plan that will get us back on track pretty soon.
Additionally, we have some projects that have been finished by someone else but which we’d still like to complete ourselves: Girlfriend, Happiness, and Seizon – LifE. Of course, their priority is quite low, so I guess we will get to them whenever I have some time to spare.

Gottheim’s disappearance was a loss to everyone…he got in a message that it was his ISP’s fault and he’s working on fixing it, but…that was months ago.

I only came here for Raqiya, but maybe I’ll try Wolfsmund out, too. Wilhelm Tell was topic we had at school a few years back, so it definitely piqued my interest.
Out of curiosity, do you know if the raws for V.3 are floating around anywhere yet?
Not that I know of. Of course, since we scan everything ourselves, that’s less of a concern for us.
Any plans to get volume 3 sooner or later then? I actually find myself liking this one more and more and would love to see the raws
Oh, by the way, what I have always wanted to ask but forgot to mention in my previous comment: Is it only you working on these series, Nomad Soul, or are there more people? I never see any names mentioned in your releases, so I was wondering. It could very well be that I am just blind though…

I’ve read seizon, nice to hear you’ll be completing it. Ever thought about linking to the other scanslator in the meantime? I thought it was done by Hox who’s pretty decent.
The Wolfsmund chapter was a definite step up on the already excellent previous two chapters. It was harrowing yet contained a glimmer of hope. And man, as a climber, I’m just a sucker for these kind of superhuman feats.

I’m glad you’re going to be continuing on with Kiichi. It was what led me to this site, and I’ve been waiting for years for another chapter or another team to pick it up. No criticisms here, just know I’m excited it’s back on the table.

Wow… I was wondering if you would actually translate and upload Emi-Chan from Garden… I’ve got a copy of it and it is pretty gnarly. Looking forward to being able to read it properly and understand all of what’s being said.
I just followed Mangaupdates and I couldn’t find a contact thingy anywhere ;_;… Do you guys think you’d continue Yuki Urushibara’s Filament? I loved ‘She got off at the Peninsula’ – There are many other oneshots still in that book. Raws are floating around http://rawscans.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=16221 but I know it’s not easy or quick to scanlate anything just because raws are available… I just had to try asking
