Rubber to the Road

The chase is on in Raqiya and things start to go kaboom left and right. Boichi once again proves that he can draw incredibly cinematic scenes with ease. It’s almost like watching a movie. Of course, this is but a small taste of what he has in store for us in future chapters. By the time we reach volume 5, each page is filled with so much greatness my eyes get bleary just looking at them.

If Raqiya was a big-budget Hollywood action movie, then Wandering Emanon would be one of those “Nouvelle Vague” indy drama with a minimalist plot, strong characters, deep dialogues and a generally existentialist feeling all around. At least that’s the impression I got from reading this manga.

I am so insanely happy you released some more Emanon. This is exactly the kind of things I love in manga. This is a kind of mood I’ve only found in Kim Stanley Robinson’s and Ursula Le Guin’s books.

  4. Thanks again for both Raqiya and Emanon.
And yeah, Raqiya’s art is so detailed and full of awesomeness; yet I’m waiting for more plot development, I think it’s got so much to give on that side, and I’m pretty sure I won’t be disappointed.

  5. In spite of Emanon(phenomena) doesn’t resist to one minute of critical reasoning, I feel atracted to this manga, thank you for releasing more of it.

  6. Thanks for the new Chapter of Wandering Emanon ’67.

I seem to leave comments for my most beloved scanslators when I am thoroughly drunk.

I deeply appreciate the effort that any and all of you put into churning out releases, regardless of the series. You are easily one of the most professional, and error-proof teams I have had the privilege of viewing the work… of.

I don’t think I have ever viewed any Kotonoha release, and found any type of error, whether it be major, or minor.

For that reason, and many more..

    Fucking thanks. Many fucking thanks.

Woo, thank ya! Also, um, I feel like such a bother asking this but would you mind reuploading chapters 12-15 of Happy-Go-Lucky Days? Sorry!

  11. Aw, yeah!
