Udon Know You’re Beautiful
Today brings the conclusion of our instant favorite project, Udon no Hito. And what a wonderful ending it is. Sweet, but not cheesy. Understated, but still emotionally satisfying. I particularly love the way the artist used udon as a metaphor for sexual desire. Kind of reminds me of my favorite Japanese movie Tampopo, whose director actually got mentioned in the last chapter. It’s a shame this manga is so short. This is one of the stories where I wouldn’t mind if it went on forever, especially thanks to those hilarious “she thinks/he thinks” scenes. Once again, a big thank to Aster for translating this manga. I hope you all enjoyed it.

Wow, new Meguru so fast! Thank you and please for more!
thx for the releases.
Udon was too light
Nice one!
Thanks a lot!
Man, Green Blood. That piece of crap Kip. At least we know what’s going to happen to him. Comeuppance, in the house!
A big thank you for your wonderful work on Udon no Hito!
Maybe you’re planning to work on more Est Em manga someday in the future? such as Kono Tabi wa or Golondrina. Thank you again!

Ikki has a short preview for Golondrina, and volume 1 was published in march, almost tempted to buy it.
Download zip file is corrupt.
Which link are you referring to?
The Mediafire one.
Sorry, my bad. I redownladoed the file. It’s fine.
Where corruption!?
All of them are quite grown, and I don’t see anything bad!
I hate to bring this up here, but I can’t find any other way to get in touch with you at all.
Could you please start including trigger warnings, or ratings, or content warnings, or even accurate summaries? I tried reading this manga (http://kotonoha.monkey-pirate.com/2007/01/15/swweeet/), based on the summary you provided, only to discover that there was fairly graphic, public bullying and rape within like the first ten pages. There was not the *slightest* hint on the page that it might include that sort of content, or any sort of dark content at all, unless you include the words “drama” and “bizarre” (*that is literally it*).
I’m lucky; I’m not outright triggered by that. But some people are incredibly traumatized and hurt by that sort of content, and other people, like myself, just *don’t want to read it*. Things that happen in the first ten pages can’t be spoilers; if you couldn’t mention such huge and prominent details of that series, how can any summary you post be trusted at all? Baka-updates thought it was worth a tag (http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=5835), and has a slightly less misleading summary too. Even porn scanlation sites label for rape; why couldn’t you bring yourselves to mention it, or ANY sort of hint that there was ANY sort of dark content to this manga, ANYWHERE on the page at all? It’s not an unreasonable request.
After that, I just feel like, no matter how you describe a story, no matter how it sounds, I have to google it if I want any sort of accurate description of the content. And that is really not a good thing.
So, could you please try to do something about that? Thank you!
Those who follow our projects regularly know that most Kotonoha projects contain mature contents, so a warning has never been considered necessary by us. However, your point is well taken and we will try to add a note for the manga in question. In the meantime, I recommend checking Mangaupdates for the kind of information you are seeking.

Thanks for the new chapters!
Thanks so much for scanlating this Manga so quickly
It has been a really fun story!
I read all of the releases and the were all great.
Green Blood in particular is so bad-ass and has great pacing thus far.
Thanks for the outstanding work.
Hi! Great work. I loved Udon no hito and all your other releases seem also great stories, so I guess I’ll end up reading everything,
Could you please tell me what’s the name of the typography types used in Udon no Hito? The lettering work is beautiful and really enhances the feel of the manga. (Ops, I’m not an english native speaker and I don’t know if I’ve mistakenly used any of these technical terms…)
The fonts I used are:
- Scott McCloud

- Pulp Fiction

Thanks a lot! Keep up the great work! I’ll be enjoying it
Udon no Hito was great! It’s hard to find enjoyable romances, personally, but this was just the right amount of humor and romance for a light story. Thank you for your work, as always!
I really enjoyed reading Udon no Hito. Thanks for bringing it to us~
Thanks for the work.
It is great to read of another Tampopo fan.
sweet, cool serie but the ending could have been a bit more zazzy i dont know it was fun to read atleast
but off topic is A Girl by the sea still in the works? maaaaan would that be great
There’s no volume 2 announced yet for A Girl By The Sea, so unless you get the magazine back issues or ask people who scan Aoi Hana (which is also published in Manga Erotics F) you are shit out of luck.
The pun was really horrible. Thanks for Udon no Hito though, I’ll forgive your bad attempt at humor.
I think the pun was hilarious actually. Loved Udon no Hito, too bad the ending was a bit wishy washy though. I don’t like leaving the rest to my imagination.
