Hey guys, sorry for not posting for so long. I have been slammed with work, on top of going through some pretty big changes in my life (albeit positive ones), but fear not, Kotonoha is not done yet. We will be back in the new year and boy, have we got some great manga for you. In fact, we now have so many scripts piled up to last us at least another year or two. So yeah, you can still count on us to deliver those less ordinary manga gems nobody is talking about. Unless of course, the Mayans were right all along and we all will be gone tomorrow. Anyway, I wish you a happy and blessed holiday. See you all in 2013!

Btw. Is it true that there will be a new volume of a girl by the sea in february?
Well, it hasn’t been officially announced yet, but I believe it will definitely be released in the first quarter of 2013.
A friend of mine will be scanning the last chapter, probably sometime mid/late January, if Manga-News or some other site doesn’t report it before then, I’ll let you know if there’s any announcements.
So we won’t get tank scans for the release?
What made you draw that conclusion? I simply mentioned I’d have the magazine scans to check for date announcements but Amazon already listed the volume.
My bad, I just assumed you would be using said chapters as raws. Sorry, if I sounded like a whiny fanboy, I really aprecciate your work very much.

You are indeed lucky. I mean it’s nearly impossible to get raws of any seinen magazine on the net. E.g. In the october issue of monthly spirits, asano published some zombie illustrations, which look really nice, but who would import a magazine just for that?

Hey, I just did ch 63 of Meguru, if you have translations I can do all the rest. Right now I’m doing a chapter of Teppu which’ll take a week and then I’ll start on 64 of Meguru. Let me know if you’re interested, it’d save me a lot of time if I didn’t have to translate but I don’t mind doing it myself either.
It never fails to amaze me that whenever I get around to re-reading my batch of Super Fav Mangas of All Times, the titles you scanlated always stand out.
To think I’ve been reading your releases since I was 16! I’m 24 now so yeah that’s pretty significant. I know I’m ranting but bear with me please, I always get this little pang in my heart when I check your website and you give news saying that you’re still alive and kicking!

I’ll tell you a tale, of a man named Simon.
He ran a blog for his small publishing group, called Icarus, which worked on bringing stateside hentai mangas.
Simon used to post regularly on his blog, but then he started posting less and less, until he made a post saying something like “i’m going to be back soon”…
And then it was revealed he was severely ill, and obviously his work as hentai publisher was kept a secret from his close friends and family, so nobody updated his blog nor website since then, until the hosting’s money ran out and everything was shut down. None of his followers online know what happened.
The morale of the story is: DON’T PULL THE SAME SHIT, PLEASE.

Hi there, could you please make a short note on your status? We’re all waiting, but you’re acting like you don’t have even slightest respect nor understanding for that. At least leave your ‘babies’ to other scan-groups. I belive few of them would pick up some of your titles. BE a man.
While I understand your impatience, your suggestions are all kinda ridiculous. 1. There are not really that much scanlators focusing on seinen/josei stuff. 2. They all have their hands full with other projects. 3. I personally wouldn’t trust most of them, though a few of them are quite good, with a work by asano for example. Be patient, so far Nomad has always come back, this time it might just take a while longer.
On the other hand, it’s not unreasonable to think that sometime in the past few months someone could have posted a status update. Even if it’s only a ‘still on hiatus for a while’ or something, it’s better than having the site sit at the same blog post forever.
I’m sure there are good reasons for the team going on hiatus for so long, but you’d think they’d have enough respect for the readers to not go months between status updates. Even bad or neutral news is better than silence.
That being said, I live in hope. This group is one of the best out there and I eagerly await new releases of awesome manga.

It’s actually a picture from the 2nd volume of Umibe no Onnanoko. It says “A girl by the sea” and “the end”.
However, the tweet does indeed give an information about his upcoming series: the title (“Pyramid wo kamiyasuri de kosuru”). I’m really not sure, but it might mean something like “Rubbing with sandpaper Pyramid”.
Hi, I was wondering if there was a possibility of Kotonoha reviving the project Aoi Hana(Sweet Blue Flowers). I understand that the project was dropped due to Jmanga licensing it for digital distribution, but now that Jmanga seems to be shutting down not only their online digital viewing but what looks like their entire website(business plan).
I don’t know what your policy is on picking up projects again, but seeing as Jmanga is no more their won’t be any new translations for Aoi Hana.
It would mean a lot to me and I am sure a lot of others if you could consider picking it up from chapter 47(last chapter released by you and Lililicious) seeing as the license should be null and void.

hey, are you still translating raqiyah? as far as I know, your group were the only trans/scanlators on the interwebs doing so and I needs me some more beautiful Raqiyah goodness, during your hiatus I looked around and found the whole series in RAW form but nowhere has any translated past chap 15. please please please get back on translating this!!!

Dudes, I know you’re still releasing stuff, albeit about 6 chapters over all in the last ten months, but if it weren’t for the fact that every couple of months I come here and another chapter has been released I’d think you all were dead, I’ve been really poor for a couple of years so couldn’t donate, which I have done to other places. So if there were some cash flow issues I might be able to drop a couple of hundred quid sooner rather than later, but there’s like 50 raw chapters of ARM floating around on the web, though I can see wanting to use Tankubon scans for the quality. but if you are dead I know other places that would like to pick up ARM at a minimum, hell, I’d start a group just for it. Coulc you at least say if you’re done.
